We all know that in tea cultivation, there is a big difference in the growth of tea leaves between the side close to the road and the side far from the road in a large field.

In other words, there is a difference in growth even in the same field. The difference can be as much as 10%.

This time, TOKYO8 wanted to eliminate that difference.

In previous presentations, we have talked about weight and how fast they grow. This time, we are talking about how much a crop of the same weight could be sold for.

In Indonesia, the reproduction plant started operation on December 1, 2021.

One of the highest hurdles of growing leafy vegetables is pests, and especially when they eat the leaves.
葉物野菜を栽培する時に、悩むのが「虫喰い」だ。

The easy way is to use pesticides to keep the bugs away, but those chemicals remain on the vegetables. In addition to that, they are expensive, and their safeness is an issue.
農薬を使い虫を追い出すのは、簡単だが、農薬によって野菜は汚染される。そして農薬は何よりコストが高く、安全性に問題がある。

Cabbage cultivation using TOKYO8 has produced amazing results. The cabbage that was grown with it has almost not been eaten by pests. This is not zero, but it is clearly different from normal cultivation.
TOKYO8を使ったキャベツ栽培で驚く成果が生まれている。虫に食われていないのだ。ゼロでは決してないが通常栽培とは明らかに違う。

In Indonesia, a long-time experienced farmer is doing a trial cultivation of TOKYO8.
The experienced farmer has determined that TOKYO8 can be harvested in 30 days instead of the 90 days required for long green onions.
What does this shortening of the harvest period to one-third mean?

長ねぎに関して、更に情報が入ってきました。
インドネシアでは、長年の経験のある農業者が、TOKYO８の試験栽培をしています。
長ねぎは、収穫までの期間を90日としていましたが、TOKYO8は30日で収穫可能と、経験ある農業者が判断しました。
この収穫期間の3分の１への短縮は、何を意味するでしょうか？
